I used Worsted Caucasian (Karachay) yarn, wool-like acrylic, 250 m (273 yd) per 100 g (3.53 oz) for Pumpkin Base. For green pumpkin’s stem I used Yarn Art Ideal yarn 1.76 oz (50g)/185.91 yds (170m), 100% cotton, color 235 green in 2 strands. As an alternative you can use any suitable yarn with similar footage and properties for the specified size. For one Pumpkin coaster, you will need about 0.88–1.06 Oz (25-30 grams) of yarn;

Tools:

Double pointed needles (or circular knitting needles). I used KnitPro US 4 (3.5 mm) size length 20 cm (8’’). Choose knitting needles from 3.5 mm to 4 mm (US sizes 4–6) based on the specified knitting gauge and your yarn.

Skills
