Enjoyed making this. I used 2 strands. One regular sockweight black and the other eyelash fuzzy. The pattern for head and body is good. Used pipe cleaners to stiffen the legs. I admit I made up my own pattern for the those. 25 stitches by 4 rows that I sewed around the pipe cleaners. Attaching them was a challenge. My finished spider is ok but not as nice as the original design I think.
